Job summary

Generation UK&I is seeking a diligent, highly organised senior partnerships manager to lead FE college business development and build Generation's public sector funding pipeline across the UK regions.

You will secure college partnerships, draft bids, manage relationships with FE college leaders and public sector stakeholders, and navigate commissioning rounds from initial pitch to signed agreements. The role involves hybrid travel across the North and Midlands and reporting to the COO.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or fundraising.
• Experience working with FE colleges or in the FE sector is strongly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience writing and winning grant applications, tenders or contracts.
• Experience negotiating and closing partnership or commercial agreements with external organisations.
• Familiarity with public sector contracts and compliance requirements is beneficial.
• Ability to model bid economics, track pipeline and report against targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead on FE college business development and build Generation's public sector funding pipeline.
• Secure new FE college partnerships and negotiate MOUs and partnership agreements.
• Lead applications for direct contracts with combined authorities and government departments.
• Coordinate joint proposals with college partners and bid for relevant funding streams.
• Write compelling bids end-to-end and manage multi-stakeholder relationships.
