Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting FE Lecturers to work across Cardiff colleges and post-16 settings in Cardiff. Roles include full-time, part-time and flexible opportunities starting September 2026, with long-term and supply options available.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a wide range of subjects, assess learner progress, differentiate instruction, and support learners into employment, apprenticeships or further study. Holiday pay and paid CPD are offered.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree, vocational qualification or significant industry experience within your subject area.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, PCET, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent is desirable, although not essential for some vocational subjects.
• Experience teaching, training, coaching or assessing learners is desirable.
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
• Passion for supporting learners and delivering high-quality teaching.
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willing to obtain registration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons within your specialist subject.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Promote positive behaviour and professional standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
