Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting experienced FE Lecturers to work across Cardiff colleges and post-16 settings, offering flexible, long-term and supply roles starting September 2026. You will plan and deliver lessons in your specialist subject, assess progress and support learners’ progression into employment or study.

We welcome applications from teachers with a relevant degree or vocational background, and teaching qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or vocational qualification in your subject area.
• Teaching qualification desirable but not essential for some vocational subjects.
• Experience teaching FE or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons within your specialist subject.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Differentiate teaching to meet individual learner needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and professional standards.
• Support learners' progression into employment or further study.

The Role Plan and deliver engaging lessons within your specialist subject

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
• Support learners with their progression into employment, apprenticeships or further study

Who We're Looking For

• Relevant degree, vocational qualification or significant industry experience within your subject area
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, PCET, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent is desirable, although not essential for some vocational subjects
• Experience teaching, training, coaching or assessing learners is desirable
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills
• Passion for supporting learners and delivering high-quality teaching
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willing to obtain registration
