Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting a Learning Support Specialist - Literacy & Numeracy for Greater Manchester FE settings. The role focuses on providing targeted support to learners with SEND, delivering interventions in English and maths, and collaborating with lecturers and SEND teams to promote inclusive learning.

Varied hours (full-time/part-time) with temporary/term-time contracts, offering professional development and DBS clearance where required.

Qualifications

Experience supporting learners with SEND in educational settings.
Strong literacy and numeracy delivery across ENG and MATH.
Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small-group support in English, maths, literacy, and numeracy.
Deliver targeted interventions to improve reading, writing, spelling, and numeracy.
Adapt materials and strategies to meet individual learner needs.
Support learners with SEND including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other needs.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Support learners toward EHCP outcomes and independence.
