Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a Learning Support Specialist - Literacy & Numeracy to aid learners with SEND across Greater Manchester FE settings. The role involves targeted interventions, one-to-one and small-group support, and collaboration with teaching staff to improve learner outcomes.

Ideal candidates have strong literacy and numeracy skills, SEND experience, and familiarity with FE environments. Temporary/term-time contracts available, with potential longer-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND in an educational setting.
• Strong literacy and numeracy delivery and assessment.
• Experience in FE colleges or sixth-form settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group English, maths, literacy and numeracy support.
• Deliver targeted interventions to improve reading, writing, spelling and numeracy.
• Support learners in developing Functional Skills and employability skills.
• Adapt materials and strategies to meet individual learner needs.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
