Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a Learning Support Specialist - Literacy & Numeracy in Greater Manchester. The role focuses on supporting learners with SEND across FE settings, delivering targeted English and maths interventions and promoting independent learning.

You will work with lecturers and SEND teams to tailor interventions, monitor progress, and help learners achieve essential skills and EHCP outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support in English, maths, literacy and numeracy.
• Deliver targeted interventions to improve reading, writing and numeracy.
• Support learners to develop Functional Skills and employability.
• Adapt materials and strategies to meet individual needs.
• Monitor learner progress and give constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with lecturers, SEND teams and support staff.
• Support learners in achieving EHCP outcomes where appropriate.
• Promote inclusive learning and positive learner engagement.
• Record and report on learner progress to teaching staff.
