Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking Learning Support Assistants in Wirral to support FE students in a dedicated, inclusive environment. You will help learners access lessons, provide one-to-one and classroom support, and work closely with staff to foster progression and confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience as Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant.
• Experience supporting learners with additional learning needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and empathy with students.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and classroom learning support to FE students.
• Support students' academic, personal and social development.
• Assist learners with additional needs where required.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support learning and engagement.
• Help students access learning materials and participate in lessons.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and essential skills.
• Monitor and report student progress and support needs.
• Maintain records and follow college procedures.
• Promote safeguarding, inclusion, health and safety, and positive behaviour.
• Adapt support approaches to individual learner needs.
