Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting Learning Support Assistants in Wirral to help FE students with their learning, development and progression in a supportive college environment.

Roles include one-to-one and classroom support, assisting learners with additional learning needs, and close collaboration with teaching staff to ensure active learning and engagement. Immediate start with both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and empathy with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and classroom-based learning support to FE students.
• Support students with academic, personal and social development.
• Assist learners with additional learning needs or SEND as required.
• Work with teaching staff to support effective learning and engagement.
• Help students access learning materials and participate in lessons.
• Encourage learners to develop confidence, independence and essential skills.
• Monitor and report progress and needs.
• Maintain records and follow college procedures.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, inclusion, health and safety.
