Job summary

Lapland UK is seeking an Act 4 Duty Manager in Ascot, offering £20.50 per hour with accommodation provided. You will lead the FC Land operation, manage a multi-person team and ensure a world-class guest experience within a busy live-entertainment environment.

Responsibilities include supervising operations, safeguarding health and safety, coordinating visit slots via Harmony, and reporting KPI data to senior management. The role requires strong leadership and guest-focused service.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year working in live entertainment, event operations, visitor attraction operations or similar.
• Strong people management experience, with experience coordinating large teams within a guest-facing operation.
• Working knowledge of best Health and Safety practices.
• A basic knowledge of KPI and customer insight data (e.g. dashboards, surveying and mystery shoppers).
• A background in ice rink operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead FC Land operation and manage staffing within Act 4.
• Ensure safe, best-in-class FC Land operation in line with policies and instructions.
• Monitor guest flow and allocate guests to Father Christmas visit slots using Harmony system.
• Deliver daily briefings to FC Land teams and communicate safety, operational and guest-experience info.
• Address recurring guest issues by working with Guest Relations and relevant stakeholders.
