Keoghs in Bolton is seeking a Fast Track Specialist File Handler to manage litigated motor injury matters for insurer clients, including the MIB. You will develop strategy, draft documents, and oversee case progression from initial filing to resolution.

You must demonstrate strong knowledge of CPR, case management, and cost control, while coordinating with clients, insurers, and third-party solicitors. This role is based in Bolton Parklands Office.

Qualifications

• Sound and practical experience of handling Fast Track RTA litigated files and managing own caseload.
• Understanding of indemnity and/or the MIB would be beneficial.
• Drafting of legal documents including defences, applications, witness statements.
• Experience of managing fixed fees while delivering quality.
• Good telephone negotiation skills.
• Proficient IT skills with Word, Outlook and Case Management System.

Responsabilités

• Reviewing files in line with Client Guidelines.
• Knowledge of litigation, CPR Rules and Court procedures.
• Formulating initial and ongoing Strategy with appropriate fee structure.
• Draft reports confirming Strategy and liaising with the client.
• Drafting legal documents and complying with Court orders/deadlines.
• Monitor spend on a claim, fixed fee or hourly rate.
• Undertaking negotiations with Third Party Solicitors.
• Liaising with Insured, Insurers and Brokers as needed.
• Ensuring tasks are carried out per Case Management System.
• Undertaking Court Hearings.
• Delegating tasks to paralegals.
• Accurately recording time and management information.
• Processing bills per Client Guidelines.
• Keeping files within ISO 9001 guidelines.
• Ensuring compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations.
