Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join our specialist Family team in Shrewsbury, handling high-quality, complex matters.

You will work on divorce, financial settlements, and children issues, with direct Partner exposure and a balanced approach to working. 5+ PQE required; strong client care, excellent organisation, and contributions to business development are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE in Family Law
• Experience across divorce, financial matters and children work
• Confident managing complex matters from start to finish
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple cases
• Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
• Committed to delivering high-quality client service
• Interested in contributing to business development and marketing

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of family matters and build strong client relationships
• Handle divorce and financial settlements, including property arrangements
• Advise on children matters and childcare issues
• Contribute to high-quality, complex and high-value matters
• Work closely with Partners and senior team members
• Guide matters from instruction through to conclusion
• Provide clear, practical and empathetic legal advice to clients
• Support business development activities and firm marketing

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a highly regarded and specialist Family team in Shrewsbury.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to work on complex, high-quality matters, advising clients on sensitive relationship breakdowns, financial arrangements and children matters.

The Opportunity:

You’ll work closely with experienced Partners while managing your own caseload and building strong, long-term client relationships.

Your workload is likely to include:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial settlements and property arrangements
• Children matters and childcare issues
• Adoption
• Family mediation
• Managing matters from instruction through to conclusion
• Advising on high-value and complex financial matters
• Providing clear, practical and empathetic advice to clients

About You:
