Job summary

Sellick Partnership (Legal) Limited in Shrewsbury is seeking a Family Partner to lead the specialist Family team, advising high-net-worth individuals while helping to grow the practice and develop junior talent.

You’ll manage a sophisticated portfolio of work, lead business development, and build strong relationships with clients and referrers to strengthen the Shrewsbury office.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Family Law.
• Strong track record advising high-net-worth clients.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
• Commercially minded with a strong business development focus.
• Confident building long-term client and professional relationships.
• Already operating at Partner level, or a Legal Director/Senior Associate ready for the next step.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Family lawyer to take a leading role within a high-quality team, advising high-net-worth individuals and families while helping to grow the practice and develop junior talent.

The Opportunity

You’ll manage a sophisticated portfolio of work while building strong relationships with clients and professional referrers.

Your workload is likely to include:

• Divorce and separation
• High-value and complex financial settlements
• Children matters, including relocation cases
• Cohabitation disputes
• Agricultural family matters
• Managing your own portfolio of high-value clients
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers
• Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the Shrewsbury office

About You

• Extensive experience in Family Law
• Strong track record advising high-net-worth clients
• Technically confident across complex financial and children matters
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
• Commercially minded with a strong business development focus
• Confident building long-term client and professional relationships
• Excellent communication skills, empathy and sound judgement
• Already operating at Partner level, or a Legal Director/Senior Associate ready for the next step
