Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking a Family Connect Advisor to join the new multi-agency Family Connect service. This role provides timely information, advice, guidance and support to a range of stakeholders to ensure the right service at the right time.

Qualifications

• Provide timely information, advice, guidance and support to stakeholders to ensure the right service at the right time.
• Office based role at Darby House, hours 8:50am–5pm, Monday to Friday.
• Secondment for 12 months, 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Act as a single point of contact for services accessed by the public and professionals to ensure the right service is delivered at the right time.
• Supply stakeholders with timely information, advice, guidance and support to enable access to the right service.
• Contribute to the Family Connect multi-agency partnership focused on safeguarding children and young people.

Telford & Wrekin Council has put Children and families at the heart of its' vision for the future. In reshaping our services, we have established Family Connect, a new multiagency partnership approach to safeguarding children and young people.

Family Connect operates a single point of contact for services accessed by the public and professionals to ensure that the right service is delivered at the right time, in the right place by the right people.

The Family Connect Service is a fresh approach to safeguarding children. It consists of a multi-agency partnership that offers child-centred co-ordinated activity.

The post holder working in the Family Connect service will be required to supply all stakeholders with timely Information, advice, guidance and support to ensure the right service at the right time can be accessed.

This post is office based at Darby House and operates Monday-Friday 8.50am-5pm
