Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group in Aylesbury is seeking a Faculty Director - English and Maths to lead ambitious English and Maths provision across campuses, shaping a future-ready curriculum. You will drive GCSE/Functional Skills delivery, embed essential skills throughout the curriculum and guide the faculty through innovation and AI-enabled learning.

This full-time leadership role (37 hours/week) reports to the Vice Principal – Curriculum & Quality and requires a track record in educational

• Proven educational leadership and curriculum improvement experience.
• Expertise in English and/or maths, including GCSE and Functional Skills.
• Strong data analytics to drive outcomes.

Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking an exceptional Faculty Director - English and Maths to l ead ambitious, inclusive English and Maths provision across Aylesbury, Amersham and Wycombe, with genuine College-wide influence. As a member of the College Leadership Team, you will drive improvement in GCSE and Functional Skills delivery, embed essential skills across the curriculum, and lead a high-performing faculty through innovation, qualification reform and AI-enabled learning.
