Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking a Curriculum Manager for Maths at the Aylesbury Campus. Lead the Maths provision, shape the future of maths education, and inspire a team of teachers and coaches to ensure learners achieve their full potential.

You will work with the Faculty Director to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, using data to drive improvement and ensuring a positive, ambitious learning culture that supports progression and employment opportunities.

  • Successful teaching experience and a strong understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Experience of leading, coaching or managing teams to improve quality and student outcomes.

As Curriculum Manager, you will lead a curriculum area that plays a crucial part in every student's educational journey. You will ensure that learners receive an outstanding experience, benefit from high-quality teaching, and develop the skills, confidence and qualifications they need to succeed in their chosen pathways.

You will have the opportunity to influence outcomes not only through the performance of your team, but through the culture you create; one that is ambitious, inclusive and focused on continuous improvement.

Working closely with the Faculty Director and your teaching and coaching team, you will provide operational leadership for our Maths provision, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, assessment and student achievement.
