Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a growing Dudley-based manufacturing business to appoint a Factory Supervisor. You will lead a busy production floor, coordinating several departments and overseeing around 30 staff, ensuring workloads are organized and daily output runs smoothly.

The role emphasises people development, hands-on problem solving and shift options (6am-2pm or 7am-3pm) with overtime.

Are you a Factory Supervisor, Production Supervisor or similar with experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment, looking to take ownership of a busy production floor within a long-established and growing business?

Do you want a people-focused role where you will guide, training and develop junior members of staff and feel rewarded by enabling their success?

In this role, you will coordinate several production departments, support and develop 5 direct reports, and oversee a wider team of around 30 staff, ensuring workloads are organised, schedules are met, and day-to-day production runs efficiently.

This company has been going for over 15 years and have seen a big boost in growth in the past few, they have recently opened new showrooms and are expanding their production efforts to meet customer demand. As a company they are manufacturing and selling bespoke furniture for mainly domestic purposes

This role would suit a Factory Supervisor, Production Supervisor, or similar, who is looking for a people focused role in a manufacturing environment where you will take ownership of a busy production environment.

The Role:

• Overseeing shop floor operations in a busy workshop environment
