Factory Operations Manager

Hours: Rotating Shifts (AM & PM)

Salary: Competitive Salary + 10% Bonus + Benefits

About the Role

As a Factory Operations Manager, you'll take full ownership of the shift operations across a rotational shift pattern. Leading a team of 4 Factory Line Managers and overseeing up to 400 colleagues, you'll be instrumental in driving performance, team engagement, and ongoing cultural change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive daily production targets while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence
  • Manage performance, resource planning, shift reporting, and employee relations issues
  • Maintain cross-functional collaboration with technical, quality, engineering, and despatch teams
  • Play a key role in site-wide change management and cultural transformation initiatives

About You

This role is ideal for a passionate, hands-on operations leader who thrives in fast-paced, large-scale manufacturing or logistics environments. You'll need resilience, excellent leadership skills, and a calm, decisive approach to operational problem-solving.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience managing large operational teams in manufacturing, logistics, or similar environments
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and drive team success
  • Confidence in dealing with a variety of personalities and high-pressure situations
  • Skilled in performance tracking, shift KPIs, and effective delegation
  • Experience in change management and team modernisation is a plus
  • 10% performance-related bonus
