Job summary

T&K Associates in Castle Donington are recruiting a Factory Labourer on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly team within an established company.

The role offers £25,000 per year with overtime, Monday to Friday 7:30am–4:00pm, 28 days holiday including bank holidays, plus free drinks and a supportive working environment. You will cut timber, use hand tools, assemble products and help with packing.

Qualifications

• Woodworking/joinery experience preferred but training provided.
• Experience using hand tools and ability to read timber lengths.
• Driver's licence advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Cutting lengths of timber to size using a crosscut saw.
• Using hand tools.
• Assembling products.
• Assisting with packing of products.

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Factory Labourer to join our Client on a Permanent basis located in Castle Donington.

Factory Labourer Job Details and Benefits;

• £25,000 per annum plus overtime opportunities paid at 1.5
• Full time Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4.00pm

Role & Responsibilities of a Factory Labourer include;

• Cutting lengths of timber into different sizes which involves taking lengths of timber from a stack of timber and cutting it using a crosscut saw
• Using hand tools
• Assembling products together
• Assisting with packing of products
• Any other associated task as required

Factory Labourer Person Specification;

• Basic woodworking / joinery experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
• Must have previous experience of using hand tools and the ability to understand a basic list of timber lengths to select the correct size for sawing
• A driving licence would be advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated and proactive
