Job Role: Factory Labourer

Location: Leicester, LE2

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Shift: Monday-Thursday: 07:00-16:15, Friday: 07:00-12:00

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory Labourer to join the team. This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, with full training provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Drilling and tapping laser-cut components using a pillar drill.
• Full training will be provided for candidates who have limited or no previous experience.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe factory environment.
• Using a push-along sweeper and carrying out general factory housekeeping.
• Emptying bins and managing general waste.
• Breaking up broken pallets and preparing packaging materials.
• Packaging and handling manufactured components as required.
• Maintaining accurate stock counts of machined parts.
• Assisting with general production and factory duties as required.
• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production requirements.

About You

• Previous manufacturing, engineering or factory experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training is available.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Practical, reliable and willing to learn new skills.
• Good attention to detail when working with components and stock.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and being active throughout the working day.
• Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of factory duties.
• Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic.
