Job summary

Nestlé Halifax Factory is recruiting an Assistant Factory Financial Controller to provide comprehensive financial support to the factory and the Factory Financial Controller, onsite. You’ll help deliver value-adding insights from costing, variance analysis and forecasting, while upholding Nestlé audit standards and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Part or fully qualified Accountant with breadth of Finance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong aptitude for creatively finding solutions to problems and developing new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial support to the factory and the Factory Financial Controller.
• Deliver visibility of costing variances and provide insights to drive efficiency.
• Participate in month-end processes including journals and reconciliations.
• Support CAPEX activities including validation of financials and cost saving initiatives.
• Develop forecasts and participate in business planning with the Factory Controller.
