Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Skilled Technician for a manufacturing site in Mid-Cornwall. This night shift role offers a long-term path with potential permanent employment and career progression.

You will maintain mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems, troubleshoot faults, support production teams and uphold safety and quality standards on a 4 on/4 off 6pm-6am rota.

£24.66 per hour on night shift with free parking and provided PPE.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Experience supporting or training production/engineering teams.
• PLC or vision systems experience is advantageous (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Carry out fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Support production and engineering teams with technical issues.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality standards at all times.
