Job summary

Adecco is supporting a client in recruiting a Facilities Support Technician for a permanent role at our Liverpool site. You'll be the key point of contact for utilities, safety and reliability, helping to maintain uptime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with internal teams, supervise maintenance in utility areas, and support asset management, energy monitoring and safety compliance. Relevant utilities experience, SAP and MS Office proficiency are important.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Facilities Support Technician, you'll play a central role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of site utility systems across the company's site. You'll work closely with teams across the business to keep vital operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with internal stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities that increase uptime and reduce productivity losses
• Supervising process and maintenance operations in utility areas
• Ensuring equipment performs to specification and supporting the commissioning of new assets
• Managing safety and compliance, identifying potential issues proactively
• Overseeing day‑to‑day utility operations and assisting with engineering project work
• Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance and asset management strategies
• Supporting capital projects, life‑extension initiatives, and monitoring energy efficiency and system health

What You'll Bring
