Job summary

NHS Highland in Belford Hospital is seeking a part-time Facilities Assistant to support Catering, Laundry and Domestic services. The role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards and compliance with infection control guidelines within the hospital environment.

You will assist with catering tasks, laundry services and general facilities support, working a part-time schedule (Mon-Fri 18:00-21:00) with weekend cover if required. Induction and training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing services to Catering, Laundry and Domestic services as part of Belford Hospital
• Maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness in line with infection control policies and regulations
• Following local NHS Scotland Cleaning Services Specifications and Waste Regulations
• Catering duties include regeneration of meals and preparation of salads, sandwiches and snacks
• Working part time Mon-Fri 18:00-21:00 and covering weekends if required
