Job summary

Medirest in healthcare facilities is seeking a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to help ensure smooth operational delivery on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). You will maintain high standards of quality work and support a frontline team in a busy healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a positive work environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a part time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our ideal Facilities Supervisor will:

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
