Job summary

Medirest, the healthcare facilities arm of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant on a part-time basis. You will maintain high standards of facility management, support the facilities team, and help ensure the smooth running of operations across healthcare sites.

The role requires adaptability, strong communication, and reliability, with duties including minor repairs, exterior upkeep, contractor management, and site access control.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks.
• Assisting the facilities team with the control of contractor’s process, inclusive of ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone is adhering to site policies and rules.
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a part time basis, contracted to 15 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
