VANRATH is partnering with a leading Visitor and Events organisation in Belfast to recruit a Facilities Supervisor. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a background in MEP and a passion for delivering high standards in facilities management.

Location: Belfast
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Excellent Benefits

The Role:

Supporting the Facilities Manager, you'll help oversee daily operations including pre-planned maintenance PPM, reactive maintenance, and small projects across the site. You'll also guide a small team and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support planned and reactive maintenance tasks

• Coordinate small projects and assist with contractor supervision

• Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety protocols

• Keep maintenance records up to date via internal systems

• Support procurement and stock control for supplies and parts

• Provide on-site guidance to team members as needed

What You Need:

• A trade qualification or hands-on MEP experience (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing)

• 3+ years in facilities or building services, ideally in a public/commercial setting

• Familiarity with compliance areas such as BMS, HVAC, or CHP (Combined Heat and Power) systems

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
