Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking a Service Manager to drive day-to-day operation of a busy estate at Abbey Wood, Bristol, reporting to the Built Estate Manager. You will coordinate reactive and planned maintenance, manage contractors and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong stakeholder engagement, compliance focus and ability to resolve operational challenges. A hybrid working structure is offered for many areas of the business.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering service delivery in facilities management or defence environments.
• Strong appreciation of health and safety responsibilities within a service delivery setting.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and ensure work is delivered safely, compliantly and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reactive and planned maintenance, Billable Works and remedial activities.
• Coordinate contractors and manage performance against KPIs.
• Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and delivery partners.
• Ensure documentation such as RAMS, permits, authorisations and inspection records is maintained.
• Maintain compliance with CDM Regulations and quality standards.
