Job summary

The Scottish Government is seeking a proactive leader to support safety and security across its estate. You will work with on-site teams, help drive a safety culture, and participate in a rota to provide presence during working hours.

You must obtain SC clearance and contribute to security, continuity, and incident response planning while ensuring standards across SG buildings and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Lead an operational delivery team with direct line management.
• Ensure smooth running of remit and adherence to SG security policies.
• Support continuity planning, incident response, and security procedures.
• Contribute to change programmes and cultural improvements within teams.
• Maintain visible on-site presence and provide excellent customer communications.
• Escalate issues and coordinate with suppliers and managers as needed.
