Job summary

Praxis Capital Limited is seeking a Head of Security for St Enoch in Glasgow. You will lead the security function, shape strategy, and oversee a team to maintain a safe, welcoming retail environment while balancing commercial needs.

This role requires operating in a complex, high-footfall setting with responsibilities spanning risk, terrorism preparedness, and stakeholder collaboration with local services.

Qualifications

• Significant security leadership experience in high-footfall environments.
• Experience managing large operational security teams and managers.
• Strong knowledge of risk, crime prevention and emergency response.
• Experience working with Police, emergency services and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop 3–4 Security Managers and the wider security team.
• Set and deliver the Centre’s security strategy.
• Manage risk, incidents, crime prevention and emergency preparedness.
• Lead counter-terrorism preparedness and Martyn’s Law compliance.
• Build strong relationships with Police Scotland, local authorities and stakeholders.
• Manage contractors, security systems, budgets and performance.
• Collaborate with tenants and Centre Management to improve standards.
• Use data and insights to enhance security operations and presence.
