Aggreko in Glasgow seeks a Security Operations Team Lead to oversee a proactive security operations function. You will guide incident response, drive strategic security initiatives, and manage critical security projects within a global company.

Qualifications

• Experience leading agile security teams in a large global business.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and audit standards (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS-2, SOX).
• Hands-on with security tooling and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Proficient identity and access management using Microsoft 365 and Entra/AD.
• Advanced vulnerability management with enterprise scanning and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small, agile Security Operations team with technical initiatives and workload management.
• Deliver internal security projects and provide technical support for operational excellence.
• Act as escalation point for incident management and ensure security processes are followed.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and security service forums on capacity planning and roadmaps.
• Provide strong technical leadership and structured hand-offs for tasks.
