Job summary

The Vyne, National Trust, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities services at a historic property in Hampshire. You will manage a small team and volunteers, oversee projects, budgets and resources, and ensure safety, compliance and sustainable operations for visitors and staff.

You will champion best practice in building maintenance, conservation principles and operational efficiency, while collaborating with contractors and departments to meet the Trust's

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and maintenance for heritage or historic properties.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing compliance, risk assessments and operational procedures.
• Understanding of building fabric and conservation principles.
• Strong commercial, analytical and financial management skills.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience in procurement, contracts, supply chain and contractor management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
