Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Portfolio Manager to own a diverse contract portfolio, delivering high-quality facilities management services while building strong client relationships.

You will oversee service delivery across the portfolio, monitor KPIs and SLAs, manage financial performance including P&L, forecasting and debt, and lead teams with performance management and development to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Facilities/Portfolio Management or commercial environment.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage small work projects.
• Strong team leadership and experience of managing a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Some technical knowledge within M&E would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of all services across the contract portfolio, ensuring compliance with QHSE standards and contractual requirements
• Demonstrate some technical knowledge within the electrical or mechanical field.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent service delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, ensuring targets are achieved and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Manage financial performance including P&L, forecasting, WIP, and debt, driving improvement against targets.
• Lead and develop teams across the portfolio, including performance management, succession planning, and productivity optimisation.
