Job summary

Airbus is seeking undergraduates for a Facilities Management and Real Estate placement at our Broughton site. You will work across the Airbus UK portfolio, reporting to the Airbus Customer Facing UK team, with exposure to real estate, energy, and services management.

The role involves budgeting and forecasting, CapEx planning, site strategy development, and driving workplace improvements through an integrated ONE FMRE approach while aligning with Airbus standards and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Facilities Management, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent.
• Excellent IT skills (Google Suite).
• Ability to make decisions based on evidence.
• Good stakeholder management skills, including communication and customer focus.
• Willingness to explore, improve processes, and generate ideas.
• Flexible in a dynamic environment and eager to work in a technical team.
• Team-oriented and adherent to Airbus standards.
• Imagination and creativity for problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Support the site HO Customer Facing with the financial management of budgets and forecasting.
• Participate in capital investment (CapEX) planning and projects according to Airbus principles.
• Develop site strategies alongside the HO customer Facing for the site to include: space management, sustainability, real estate, services etc.
• Integrate an MFT approach across the Facilities Management team in the UK; lead workplace improvement projects.
• Engage with customers and provide accurate reporting with transparent performance metrics.
• Build relationships across the plant to anticipate business needs.
