Job summary

Andy File Associates Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Facilities Management Operations Manager in Doncaster. The role oversees the co-ordination of planned, reactive and installation activities across client premises, ensuring KPIs, SLA delivery and budget adherence.

You will lead a team of engineers covering electrical, mechanical and fabric services, develop risk assessments, manage permits to work, and drive a culture of safety and customer service while supporting growth plans.

Qualifications

• Facilities management or building maintenance services environment experience.
• Management experience.
• NEBOSH General Certificate.
• IT literate.
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
• Ability to persuade and influence with all levels of staff in a corporate environment.
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Be flexible to work outside core hours from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and projects including scheduling and resource allocation, ensuring all tasks are completed on time, on budget and to a consistent high quality.
• Prepare and submit quotations for works enquiries from existing clients.
• Carry out audits and spot checks to confirm service delivery by both direct employees and sub-contractors is of the required quality and being delivered safely.
• Carry out first line management duties with staff including disciplinary and employment processes.
• Monitoring of customer satisfaction ensuring that it remains high.
• Prepare reports on key performance indicators and present findings to senior management.
• Drive a culture of safety first and continuous improvement.
• Management of contractor supply chain to ensure the business has sufficient resources in required disciplines.
• Coordination and delivery of toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure work equipment is maintained in accordance with Company and manufacturer recommendations.
