Job summary

Andy File Associates Limited is recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent Building Maintenance operative in the North East. You will provide building fabric maintenance across multiple sites, delivering planned, reactive and installation works across diverse disciplines.

You will travel to various locations, follow site instructions and SLAs, monitor CAFM records and liaise with Health & Safety. A valid CSCS and full driving licence are essential, with a commitment to high-quality

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 General Building Operations or equivalent qualification.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Experience in Building Maintenance or Shopfitting.
• Ability to repair and maintain a range of equipment.
• Ability to work with initiative and follow policies.
• Good communication and PC literacy.
• Full driving license.
• Customer-focused and self-motivated.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload.
• High-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Provide Building Fabric Maintenance across a range of disciplines and across multiple sites & sectors.
• Deliver Planned, Reactive and Installation works in both internal and external areas.
• Required to travel to various locations to fulfil allocated task.
• Follow instructions from Line Manager regarding scheme and scope of works.
• Carry out tasks in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
• Monitor and update the CAFM system.
• Liaise with Health and Safety Forum and Human Resource to engage with Learning and Development in accordance with Site Safety Regulations.
• Look to Sustainably use resources and recycle where possible.
• Always represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
• Any other duties within the scope of the role.
