Job summary

University of Oxford is seeking a Facilities Support Assistant to help keep the Sheldonian Theatre and Examination Schools safe, clean, welcoming and ready for daily activities. You will support building operations, room preparation, security, cleaning and basic maintenance, working with staff and contractors to maintain high standards.

You will gain experience across two venues with training in health and safety, manual handling, audio-visual equipment and building management systems.

Qualifications

• Basic IT skills including email use.
• Willingness to learn building-related IT systems.
• Professional and helpful approach with visitors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support building operations, room preparation, security, cleaning and basic maintenance.
