Job summary

Grosvenor Services is seeking a Facilities Officer (Hard Services) to oversee safe, compliant operation of building services across the estate. You will perform non-technical PPM, assist with reactive maintenance, and support compliance and safety programs on-site.

You will coordinate with occupiers, contractors and service providers to maintain high standards of building maintenance and customer service. This role is onsite in the UK with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

Facilities Management or Property Maintenance experience.
Routine PPM inspection experience.
Minor maintenance and repair capabilities.
Understanding of statutory compliance requirements.
CAFM system experience.
Customer-facing experience.
Emergency lighting testing knowledge.
Building fabric maintenance knowledge.
Health & Safety legislation familiarity.
Organisational and communication skills.
Record keeping and reporting.
Problem solving.

Responsibilities

Deliver non-technical planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.
Undertake minor reactive maintenance works.
Support statutory compliance requirements and ensure facilities remain safe and functional.
Act as on-site representative for Hard Services, coordinating with occupiers, contractors and service providers.
Manage contractor access on site and monitor performance and compliance.
Respond to facilities requests and support Building occupants.
Maintain CAFM records and documentation; support audits and inspections.
Uphold health, safety and environmental policies and reporting.
Escort contractors on site and issue permits where authorized.

Rate: £30,000 per annum

Start Date: ASAP

Days Required: Monday to Friday

Hours: 40 hours / week

About the Role

The Facilities Officer (Hard Services) is responsible for supporting the safe, compliant and efficient operation of building services across the estate. The role will deliver non-technical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities, undertake minor reactive maintenance works, support statutory compliance requirements and ensure facilities remain safe, functional and fit for purpose. The post holder will act as a key on-site representative for Hard Services, working closely with occupiers, contractors and service providers to ensure high standards of building maintenance and customer service are maintained.
