Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Greater Manchester is seeking a Service Support Manager to lead service delivery across multiple client sites, ensuring exceptional cleaning standards, compliance and customer satisfaction.

This role offers exposure to a diverse contract portfolio with opportunities to build strong client relationships, manage operational performance and drive service excellence across the region. A proven facilities or cleaning background and driving licence are key assets.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within soft services, cleaning or facilities management environments.
• Excellent customer service, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Full UK driving licence (company car provided).
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous service improvement.
• IOSH Health & Safety qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carrying out regular audits and inspections to ensure service excellence.
• Monitor performance against SLAs and cleaning specifications, implementing improvements where required.
• Manage daily employee wages and ensure Health & Safety compliance across all contract locations.
• Adhere to statutory fire safety and health and safety regulations, identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with all company policies and procedures, including HR, QHSE, Right to Work, vetting and compliance requirements.

• Monitor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and cleaning specifications, implementing improvements where required.
• Manage daily employee wages and ensure Health & Safety compliance across all contract locations.
• Adhere to statutory fire safety and health and safety regulations, identifying and mitigating operational risks.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with all company policies and procedures, including HR, QHSE, Right to Work, vetting and compliance requirements.
