Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Leeds is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee building maintenance, health and safety compliance, and tenant/contractor management. The role focuses on delivering high service standards within agreed budgets and regulatory requirements.

You will manage third party contracts, monitor performance against KPIs, and produce management information to support decision-making in a busy property environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Experience in regional facilities management within a multi-let property environment.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• High degree of Health and Safety knowledge; IOSH or NEBOSH desirable.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the fabric of the building is maintained and serviced to a high standard within budgets.
• Oversee health and safety compliance onsite, including third party services and maintenance records.
• Oversee third party contracts to ensure service standards per contract.
• Prepare, control and monitor service agreements within client budgets.
• Monitor KPIs and take remedial action to maintain and improve standards.
• Maintain management information/records including asset registers and emergency plans.
• Develop and maintain tenant relationships and attend tenant meetings as applicable.
• Coordinate fire evacuations and ensure updated emergency plans and maps.
