Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at a Manchester City Centre site. You will lead a small on-site team and ensure service levels, budget adherence, and strict health and safety practices across the building.

Responsibilities include budget monitoring, reporting, and liaising with authorities and contractors. A degree and relevant facilities management experience are required, with IOSH/IWFM qualifications desirable.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good awareness of Health and Safety legislation and environmental protection requirements.
• IT literate with understanding of industry IT applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational activities in line with health, safety, environmental and company procedures.
• Prepare, control and monitor service charge budget in conjunction with the Senior Facilities Manager.
• Prepare management reports as required by the business.
• Direct line management of on-site CBREMS personnel and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Maintain asset registers, emergency plans, plant testing and other site records.
• Liaise with local authorities and procurement for external contracts.
