Job summary

The Facilities Manager will support the Asset & Property Management team in delivering high-quality facilities across a diverse commercial property portfolio.

This role covers hard and soft facilities management, ensuring M&E, lifts, drainage and building fabric are properly maintained, and that contractors are managed and compliance is met. You will engage with tenants and clients to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or property management for commercial properties.
• Strong knowledge of hard services (M&E, lifts, drainage, roofing) and building fabric.
• Experience managing external contractors and maintenance programmes.
• Ability to monitor compliance and support service-charge budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular site inspections to identify defects and compliance matters.
• Produce clear reports with risks and remedial works.
• Monitor building fabric including roofs, drainage and gutters.
• Procure, appoint and manage contractors; prepare scopes of works.
• Coordinate reactive maintenance and contractor sign-off.
• Ensure statutory inspections and servicing are undertaken.
• Maintain accurate records in property management software.
• Communicate with tenants and clients to resolve facilities issues.
