Allstaff Recruitment is recruiting a Facilities Manager in Milton Keynes to lead the delivery of facilities services across multiple sites. You will oversee operations, supplier relationships and continuous improvement efforts to maintain high-quality environments.

The role requires strong organisational skills, budget awareness and effective stakeholder management. It is a full-time initial 12-month contract with 37.5 hours per week (8.30am–5pm) with a view to permanent.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Work with Operational team to ensure efficient workplace environments across multiple sites.
  • Lead and manage on-site facilities teams, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee day-to-day office and building operations for multiple sites (office and manufacturing).
  • Support end-to-end procurement processes.
  • Maintain accurate facilities records, compliance documentation, reports and asset information.
  • Coordinate communication across facilities teams and contractors.
  • Promote and enforce health, safety, environmental and security standards across locations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related enquiries and issues.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager based in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a Full time initial 12 month contract with a view to going permanent basis.

The Facilities Manager plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality facilities management services across multiple sites. Working closely with operational teams, the successful candidate will ensure the efficient running of workplace environments, maintain compliance with health and safety standards, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to the overall facilities strategy. This role requires a proactive individual who can balance operational priorities, stakeholder expectations, and budget requirements while driving continuous improvement.

Summary of the Facilities Manager role

Salary: Up to £55,000
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Initial 12 month contract with a view to going permanent
Hours: 37.5 hour working week – 8.30am-5pm

Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager
  • Work closely with the Operational team to ensure efficient running of the workplace environment
  • Lead and manage on-site facilities teams, providing guidance and support
  • Oversee day-to-day office and building operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of all facilities services over multiple sites - both office and manufacturing.
  • Support end-to-end procurement processes
  • Maintain accurate facilities records, compliance documentation, reports, and asset information.
  • Coordinate communication across facilities teams and contractors
  • Promote and enforce health, safety, environmental, and security standards across all locations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Monitor office operations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related enquiries and issues
Requirements for a successful Facilities Manager
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Previous experience within Facilities Management and managing a team
  • Direct experience managing an on-site facilities team
  • Previous experience working within a corporate, matrix-managed environment
  • Previous experience managing manufacturing and/or industrial facilities alongside office environments
  • Strong knowledge of facilities operations, including building compliance, statutory inspections, audits, planned preventative maintenance, contractor management, and health and safety requirements
  • Experience overseeing building systems and facilities service delivery across multiple sites
  • Experience working within budget and operational timelines
  • Working knowledge of EHS legislation and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal
  • IT literate including Microsoft Office
