CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Technical Facilities Manager.

The purpose of the role is to oversee the operational delivery of all Facility Management services with hands-on responsibilities at our Portsmouth site.

Responsibilities and daily activities:
  1. Ensuring compliance with legislative, Client and CBRE Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
  2. Work with multi-site Facilities Manager to coordinate budgets and forecasts, report out-of-line situations.
  3. Approve invoices, goods received notes, and statements for payment.
  4. Focus on delivering all FM Operations SLA’s in accordance with KPIs & Output measurements.
  5. Coordinate with operations team and third-party suppliers to deliver service level agreements.
  6. Support and monitor third-party maintenance activities and report corrective works.
  7. Work with project managers to ensure integrated FM/projects delivery.
  8. Report all accidents, occupational illnesses, and emergencies within 12 hours.
  9. Ensure contractors operate within QHSE standards.
  10. Conduct monthly SLA checks for contract performance.
  11. Create and validate site procedures aligned with Honeywell standards.
  12. Maintain site image and visual standards.
  13. Manage and develop local staff, fostering motivation and communication.
  14. Understand customer requirements and address concerns promptly.
  15. Coordinate operational delivery across various services including cleaning, catering, security, and technical services.
  16. Ensure use of CMMS for maintenance requests and asset management.
  17. Manage asset registers, maintenance plans, and capital budgets.
  18. Coordinate out-of-hours support services.
  19. Develop relationships with key clients and promote a “One Team” approach.
  20. Maintain professional image and branding standards.
  21. Complete all required reports and participate in meetings.
  22. Seek opportunities for scope expansion and additional responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Engineering or technical qualification with experience in technical service delivery for facilities.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in hard and soft services facilities management or equivalent qualification.
  • People management and communication skills at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, exceeding SLA.
  • Knowledge of the Facilities Management industry and HSE standards.
  • Experience delivering technical services and projects on time, ideally in manufacturing/production environments.
  • Practical experience with supply partners for integrated service delivery.
