Job summary

IWFM is seeking an on-site Facilities Manager in Evesham to lead the estate’s day-to-day operations within a demanding Hard FM environment. You will drive compliance, safety, and performance while developing the site team and managing budgets.

Ideal candidates will hold an IWFM Level 3 or equivalent and bring substantial experience in estates services, robust health and safety knowledge, and a strong track record with audits and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Recognised technical or facilities management qualification.
• Substantial experience leading Hard FM or estates services.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and its practical implementation.
• Sound knowledge of statutory and mandatory compliance, including external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation and strategic management of the estate.
• Drive and maintain compliance across all service delivery.
• Ensure hazards are identified and risk assessments are completed.
• Champion health and safety standards and policy compliance.
• Manage performance against KPIs and develop the site team.
• Lead, support and develop the site team and employment processes.
• Manage site budgets, monitor P&L, and identify opportunities for additional works.
• Support environmental management and carbon reduction programmes.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring safety and timeliness.

What you will do:

• Lead the day–to–day operation and strategic management of the estate on behalf of the client.
• Drive and maintain statutory and mandatory compliance across all areas of service delivery.
• Ensure hazards are identified and suitable, sufficient risk assessments are completed to reduce or eliminate risk.
• Champion strong health and safety standards, ensuring colleagues understand and comply with policies and procedures.
• Manage performance against KPIs and ensure the team understands how its work contributes to successful service delivery.
• Lead, support and develop the site team, including first–line management and employment processes.
• Manage site budgets, monitor profit and loss, and identify additional works opportunities.

• Support environmental management and local and business zero–carbon programmes.
• Maintain strong operational oversight of planned and reactive maintenance activity, ensuring work is completed safely and on time.

What you will bring:

• A recognised and relevant technical or facilities management qualification, ideally IWFM Level 3 or equivalent.
• Substantial experience leading Hard FM or estates services in a complex operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and the practical implementation of policies.
• Sound knowledge of statutory and mandatory compliance, including experience preparing for external audits.
