Job summary

Vertas is seeking a passionate Cleaner to join our Facilities Team. This part-time role involves 7 hours per week, with shifts across Monday to Friday and at Ashbourne Hub (DE6). You will clean offices, toilets and communal areas to high standards and contribute to customer satisfaction.

We welcome applicants with cleaning experience and a strong team ethic. An enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK are required. DBS and pre-employment checks will be carried out where applicable.

About the Role

Based at Ashbourne Hub (DE6), you will be working 7 hours per week, Monday - Wednesday 4pm to 5.30pm Thursday & Friday, 4pm to 5.15pm for 52 weeks of the year. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets, offices, corridors, and reception area.
• Wiping down desks, offices, tables, windowsills, ledges, etc.
• General cleaning duties across offices and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

Who are we looking for?

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
• Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting
• A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
