Job summary

Vertas Group is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at Newark Bus Station. You'll work 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 17:00 to 19:00, throughout the year, helping maintain high standards of cleanliness for customers and colleagues alike.

The role emphasises reliability, good communication, and a willingness to support a busy facilities operation with a friendly, can-do approach. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service and basic cleaning experience.

About the Role:

Based at Newark Bus Station, NG24 1XG, you will be working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 17:00 to 19:00, 52 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across public and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

Who are we looking for?

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
