Job summary

Airbus in North Wales is offering a 3-year Facilities Management apprenticeship at the Broughton site. The programme begins with off-site study and transitions to on-site placements across maintenance, sustainability and health & safety disciplines.

You will study IWFM Level 3 while earning a full-time salary, with placements at the Wing Manufacturing Centre of Excellence and campuses at Coleg Cambria and Gower College. Start date September 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including Maths and English Language.

Responsibilities

• Support daily on-site maintenance and ensure robustness of planned preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with external service providers to ensure service delivery.
• Review infrastructure layouts to develop new solutions and improve asset reliability.
• Evaluate supplier workmanship standards.
• Contribute to projects that reduce issues and improve reliability.
• Identify opportunities with Sustainability and Asset Management teams.
• Assist in energy and infrastructure improvements within the site.
