Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton/Bristol is offering a 40-month apprenticeship programme in facilities management engineering. You will gain hands-on industry experience across maintenance, sustainability, and health & safety while earning a full-time salary.

The scheme begins with off-site study for 8 months, followed by placements on-site at our Wing Manufacturing Centre of Excellence, with progression through 2nd and 3rd years.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including Maths, English Language and Science.

Responsibilities

• Support daily site maintenance issues and ensure robustness of planned preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with external service providers to ensure service delivery.
• Review infrastructure layouts to develop new solutions and improve asset performance.
• Evaluate external supplier workmanship against asset strategy and requirements.
• Contribute to sustainability, health & safety initiatives and energy management.
• Participate in placements across teams to develop high engineering skills.
