Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited invites applications for its Airbus Engineering Degree Apprenticeship at the Wing Manufacturing Centre of Excellence in Broughton, North Wales. Over 40 months you will earn a full-time salary while studying Swansea University, gaining a BEng (Hons) Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering from Coleg Cambria.

You will rotate across Design, Manufacturing and Quality Engineering, with 4 days in placement and 1 day for academic study, developing factory-ready engineering

Qualifications

• UCAS points: 112 total with Maths A-level B and Physics/Chemistry at least C.
• Additional engineering subject qualifications at level 3 or equivalent.
• GCSE English and Maths minimum grade 4/C or above.

Responsibilities

• During years 2 & 3 you will have 4 days a week in placements and 1 day a week of academic leave for your degree.
• You will rotate through Design, Manufacturing and Quality Engineering approximately every 12 weeks.
• Work with finance, supply-chain, procurement, logistics and enablement teams to develop broad engineering skills.
