Job summary
Airbus Operations Limited seeks engineering degree apprentices for a 3-year programme in Broughton, North Wales, studying for a BEng (Hons) Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering with Swansea University. The scheme includes on-site placements, university study at Coleg Cambria, and potential IEng accreditation.
You will alternate between four days of placements and one academic day per week, earning a full-time salary of £23,245 and benefiting from holidays, pension and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- 112 UCAS points with Maths B and Physics/Chemistry C or equivalent.
- BTEC L3 Extended Diploma in Engineering with Distinction incl. Further Maths.
- Access to HE: 30 Level 3 credits, 15 Maths + 15 Science/Tech.
- IB Diploma: H5 Maths, H3 Physics.
- T Level: Merit in Eng & Manufacturing + Level 3 Maths.
Responsibilities
- Attend placements at Wing Manufacturing Centre of Excellence.
- Rotate through Design, Manufacturing and Quality engineering about every 12 weeks.
- Support tooling, robotics, automation and future aerospace projects.
